Curbside Market and Milkshakes is a genuine farm-to-table establishment, offering fresh produce grown only steps from the stand by farmer Sean and family. Depending on the season, you'll find a variety of u-pick items in this five acre field, plus fresh selections grown by local farmers and producers including fresh strawberries, tomatoes, green peppers, cabbage, squash, zucchini, white sweet onions, red Vidalia onions, corn, green beans, okra, avocados, pineapples, watermelon, bananas and sunflowers.
Some folks will remember the food truck located here, which has now been replaced with a proper farmers' market building and bakery.
The cottage style country bakery produces delicious fresh items like cinnamon buns, pecan rolls, specialty breads, cookies, muffins and doughnuts. The pies are fresh baked, including apple, pecan, pumpkin, sweet potato, strawberry and of course -- key lime pies.
The tropical fruit milkshakes (at least 18 flavors) are made by hand with real ice cream.
Try the homemade jams, jellies, pickles, relishes, salsas and sauces made by Amy, a talented baker and chef. Ask about the delicious Gluten-free cupcakes in a variety of flavors. A selection of raw unprocessed local honeys are available as well.
Chances are, you'll meet the family when you visit, as the kids are often hanging out, helping mom and dad.
